According to the American College of Physicians (ACP), therapy with an oral phosphodiesterase type-5 (PDE 5) inhibitor in men is a treatment for curing erectile dysfunction. The ACP recommends that physicians implement this therapy based on the choices of individuals regarding ease of use, cost of medication, and possible side affects.
The researchers analyzed evidence gathered from 130 controlled trials selected at random that evaluated oral PDE 5 inhibitors both in combination and in isolation.
